While looking for inspiration for my home renovations, I still keep coming across one of the top interior design trends of cottagecore. While it may not entirely work for the era and style of my house, there are some elements that I really love. I’ve recently stumbled upon local homes, restaurants and cafés that reflect this charming look. The rustic, nostalgic and romantic tone appeals to the handcrafted vibe I’m going for. I also like how the aesthetic has a simple, sustainable feel that incorporates nature with a colour palette of neutrals and warm tones.
