TYPE-RIGHTER // signs of the past

Old signage and advertising has endured the test of time on many buildings but with development this is sadly disappearing. Seeing the fading glimpses of this reminds us of the history of the area and how it has changed. From a creative perspective, the elements used in the graphics, illustrations and typography is a design lesson in itself. While the lovely patina also adds a beautiful visual layer to the architectural features. Hopefully these messages won't be lost in the future even though the building has moved on from the past and what it once advertised.
