ECO LIFE // elizabeth bay

Tucked away in the middle of the inner suburbs of Sydney are hidden parks and reserves that transport you to another place. Elizabeth Bay is reminiscent of Europe with beautiful private gardens surrounding grand historic homes and curated landscaping throughout the area.

A hidden gem at the top of the hill and near Elizabeth Bay House is a pristine park with spectacular panoramic views of Sydney Harbour. Arthur McElhone Reserve has a picturesque lawn surrounded by mature trees, lush plants and blooming flowers. Adding to the old world charm is a stone bridge that spans over an ornamental lake with koi fish and lily pads.

Beare Park is also a great spot next to the bay right by the water’s edge that also has a heritage background. There are so many scenic places to visit and enjoy the wonders of nature, even when you’re in the middle of the city.
