Summer holidays on the coast include long walks in nature and around the streets of small untouched towns. Nothing says Australia like a weatherboard cottage painted in soft pastel shades with a tin roof and water tank. I have captured beach shacks like these before and I am so happy that I keep discovering more retro gems.

These coastal villages don’t escape developers but I hope these classic homes stay around for as long as possible. Many houses are being renovated, but thankfully the original style is being preserved with modern updates for today’s lifestyle.
